Technical Lead (GitHub Enterprise Cloud)

What you will do

• Design, establish, and operationalise a GitHub Enterprise Cloud environment using Enterprise Managed Users.
• Integrate GitHub with identity providers through authentication, SSO, SCIM provisioning, and user lifecycle management.
• Configure enterprise structures, roles, teams, repository permissions, governance rulesets, audit logging, and privileged access controls.
• Plan and execute trial, pilot, and production migrations across organisations and repositories, including repository history and metadata.
• Reconfigure GitHub Actions, secrets, variables, environments, GitHub Apps, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
• Build scalable self-hosted runner infrastructure and provide documentation, testing, troubleshooting, security evidence, and operational handover.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience setting up GitHub Enterprise Cloud with Enterprise Managed Users and delivering multi-organisation migrations.
• Strong knowledge of SSO, identity provider integration, SCIM provisioning, user lifecycle management, repository governance, and access controls.
• Experience with Actions Runner Controller, ephemeral runners, Terraform, EKS, automation, and troubleshooting across identity, migration, workflow, and network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of GitHub Enterprise and runner hardening aligned with ISM requirements.
• Ability to communicate with engineering, cyber security, identity, leadership, and vendor stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or another highly regulated environment.
• Familiarity with APRA CPS 234 and security assurance requirements.
• GitHub Certified Administrator or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification.
