Senior Legal Counsel - Construction & Contract Law (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Advise on construction projects across all phases, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating pre-construction and construction-related contracts.
• Support legal aspects of construction subsidies and project finance structuring.
• Provide legal support for supplier, service, cooperation, and other commercial agreements.
• Guide management and operational teams on day-to-day legal matters.
• Develop internal legal processes, policies, contract standards, and compliance practices.
• Build and improve claims and dispute management systems.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in both public and private construction law, with strong contract and commercial law expertise.
• Full qualification as a lawyer with both German State Examinations.
• Proven experience managing complex contractual structures and disputes.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
• Advanced English skills, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with international contract standards such as FIDIC.
