Senior Legal Counsel (AI)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Hybrid setup: after 3 months in-office, work 2 days remotely and 3 days in-office each week.

What you will do

• Own third-party contracts across payment processors, technology vendors, data processing agreements, and technology partnerships.
• Review and negotiate a high volume of vendor and partner agreements.
• Develop smarter AI-assisted contract review workflows using Luminance.
• Set standards for contract approvals and determine when to challenge terms or proceed with a deal.
• Provide leadership with a real-time view of third-party risk.
• Support legal work related to product launches, regulatory changes, and market expansions.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with a Master's degree in Law.
• Strong background in financial services.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating third-party contracts, vendor agreements, data processing agreements, and technology partnerships.
• Practical knowledge of GDPR, PSD2, DORA, and DNB/EBA requirements.
• Experience using AI tools and building processes around them to improve legal work.
• Conversational Dutch at B1 level or higher is required.
