TL;DR
Trade & Transportation Specialist (International Trade and Customs): Managing local import/export operations, customs clearance, shipment documentation, and regulatory compliance with an accent on broker supervision and lawful, cost-effective trade execution. Focus on monitoring international shipments, applying customs procedures, improving transport activities, and maintaining accurate declarations and online forms.
Location: Onsite in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Global relocation and LTA support are not available.

What you will do
- Monitor daily import and export shipments and coordinate smooth customs clearance through appointed customs brokers.
- Apply relevant customs procedures and ensure accurate declarations.
- Manage documentation and online forms for compliant, cost-effective import and export operations.
- Supervise customs broker performance and support operational trade and customs activities within the local unit.
- Review and improve transport, trade, and customs processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Relations, or Business Management.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in international logistics, trade, and shipment activities.
- Advanced English required.
- Availability to work onsite in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
Nice to have
- Experience using Transportation Management Systems.
- Knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP tool.
