Senior Java Automation Developer (Microservices & Security Testing): Building scalable test automation frameworks for cloud-native Java/Spring Boot microservices, API-first services, and cryptographic operations with an accent on Kubernetes deployments, security testing, and CI/CD integration. Focus on designing DAST and fuzz-testing solutions, validating PKI and X.509 workflows, and improving test observability for high-availability distributed systems.
Location: El Prat de Llobregat, Spain. Hybrid work options are available, with onsite facilities and a fixed working schedule.

What you will do
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks for Java and Spring Boot microservices.
- Build unit, integration, API, contract, and end-to-end test suites for Docker- and Kubernetes-based services.
- Develop advanced security testing, including DAST and fuzz testing for APIs and cryptographic operations.
- Integrate automated testing, SAST/DAST checks, and reporting into CI/CD pipelines.
- Validate PKI workflows, X.509 certificates, and secure key usage in automated tests.
- Collaborate with backend, DevOps, QA, and security teams while mentoring colleagues on automation practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with strong Java development and test automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST, OpenAPI, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of DAST, fuzz testing, SAST/DAST integration, cryptography, PKI, and X.509 certificates.
- Experience with Scrum, TDD, BDD, distributed high-availability systems, and reliability-focused testing.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Git, SonarQube, Jenkins, Nexus, and Maven.
- Fluent English, spoken and written, is required.
Nice to have
- Experience testing SDKs and mobile or desktop client applications.
- Knowledge of mobile development concepts and client-server interaction patterns.
- Experience in financial services, payment systems, or digital currency projects.
