Desktop Engineer (Security)

Location: New York, NY 10017

Salary: $135,000–$145,000 per year

The role supports a leading global investment management firm specializing in real estate securities and alternative investments.

What you will do

• Manage device imaging, configuration, deployment, and endpoint management with SCCM and Intune.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for Windows desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and related infrastructure.
• Administer Group Policy Objects and implement desktop security controls using Defender, CASB, and CIS Benchmarks.
• Support Citrix XenApp, DaaS, VDI, and hypervisor environments.
• Automate maintenance and system administration tasks with PowerShell.
• Coordinate patching, system testing, data migration, integrations, and after-hours on-call support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT support experience in financial services.
• Expertise in Windows desktop support, Citrix VDI, and endpoint management.
• Proficiency with SCCM, Intune, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Defender, CASB, CIS Benchmarks, networking, storage, and telephony systems.
• Experience supporting highly regulated financial environments and global users.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
