Senior Systems Administrator (Microsoft Entra ID)

What you will do

• Administer and support enterprise hardware, software, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID, including provisioning, deprovisioning, identity lifecycle management, authentication, RBAC, and access governance.
• Provide ServiceNow-based incident, service request, problem, and break/fix support.
• Diagnose complex infrastructure, server, application, and systems integration issues across geographically dispersed environments.
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity while implementing proactive maintenance and optimization.
• Support documentation, incident management, root cause analysis, modernization, migrations, security compliance, and technical mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least seven years of progressively responsible enterprise systems administration experience.
• Experience supporting on-premises and cloud-based hybrid infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, identity and access management, authentication, and directory services.
• Experience with complex troubleshooting, enterprise service management tools such as ServiceNow, technical documentation, virtualization, operating systems, storage, and network-connected resources.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required government security clearance or Public Trust designation.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation, or similar certification.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange Online, Intune, or related Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Experience supporting federal government, healthcare, biomedical research, scientific computing, or mission-critical high-availability systems.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, security compliance, access governance, automation, PowerShell, Python, cloud migration, and infrastructure modernization.
