Talent Acquisition Expert (AI)

Location: Tokyo, Japan; hybrid workplace

Company

Develops remote-controlled robots with artificial intelligence, including robotic hardware, software, and AI technology in-house.

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting from job intake through offer acceptance.
• Partner with hiring managers to define hiring strategies, role requirements, interview frameworks, and evaluation criteria.
• Source, assess, and engage candidates through multiple channels while managing recruiting pipelines and timelines.
• Provide a transparent, consistent, and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Manage job postings, requisitions, candidate data, reporting, and offer processes in ATS and recruiting systems.
• Track recruiting KPIs and lead process improvements, employer branding, hiring events, and global recruiting initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of recruiting experience.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Business-level Japanese and English required.
• Hands-on experience with ATS platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, process-driven mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-growth, startup, or technology environment, especially robotics, AI, or deep tech.
• Familiarity with software and hardware concepts.
• Experience building recruiting processes from scratch or scaling teams rapidly.
• Experience with global or cross-border hiring.
