Finance Broughton Placement (12.5 months) (Aerospace)

Location: Broughton, United Kingdom. The 12.5-month placement starts on 16 August 2027 and offers hybrid working options depending on the role.

Salary: £24,246 per year.

What you will do

• Prepare monthly financial reports covering actual costs and revenues.
• Update forecast models and support budgeting for aircraft wing production.
• Analyze and report on labour efficiency and effectiveness.
• Post monthly accruals and journals and contribute to risk and opportunity reporting.
• Liaise with Finance and Business Operations stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement, sustainability, charity, and team activities.

Requirements

• Undergraduate status is mandatory throughout the full placement.
• Studying Finance, Accounting, Business, or an equivalent degree, with at least two years completed.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace or equivalent Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong teamwork, communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, explain accounting concepts to non-finance colleagues, and meet tight deadlines.
• Successful candidates must complete a BPSS security check and may need UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control approval.
