Building and Construction Project Management Placement (12.5 months)

Location: Filton, Bristol, United Kingdom. The placement is based at the Filton site and works across the hirify.global UK portfolio of sites. Hybrid working options may be available depending on the role.

hirify.global Defence and Space operates within the hirify.global UK aerospace organisation, with the Facilities Management and Real Estate function supporting buildings, sites, infrastructure, and construction projects.

What you will do

• Support the Head of Building and Construction with budget management, financial control, and forecasting.
• Participate in capital investment planning and construction projects in line with hirify.global principles.
• Lead projects supporting workplace refurbishment and construction across the site.
• Coordinate a multifunctional team approach across the UK Facilities Management organisation.
• Engage with customers and provide accurate, timely reporting using transparent performance metrics.
• Build relationships across the site to anticipate business needs.

Requirements

• Undergraduate status must be maintained for the full duration of the 12.5-month placement.
• Currently studying towards a degree in Project Management, Construction, Building Services, Surveying, or an equivalent subject.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to engage with different people and understand their perspectives.
• Successful candidates will be subject to a BPSS security check and may also require UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
