TL;DR
Scheduler (Fuel Logistics): Planning fuel deliveries and managing stock levels for metro and surrounding customers with an accent on fleet scheduling, regulatory compliance, and customer service. Focus on optimising delivery schedules, solving real-time truck availability issues, and coordinating with customers, drivers, and internal stakeholders.

Location: Wishart Rd Office, Berrimah, Northern Territory, Australia. Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, 38 hours per week, with a shared after-hours phone requirement.

hirify.global operates a wholesale fuels business supplying B2B and B2C customers across retail, agriculture, fishing, transport, mining, and construction.

What you will do

  • Plan fuel delivery loads and daily fleet schedules in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Review and maintain stock levels for vendor-managed sites and internal depots.
  • Provide customers with fuel delivery updates and maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Optimise fleet schedules to maximise product deliveries to customer tanks.
  • Resolve unplanned schedule changes and truck availability issues in real time.
  • Take part in a shared after-hours phone rotation and adjust schedules when required.

Requirements

  • Strong organisation, proactive planning, communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to plan efficient daily delivery schedules for a metro Darwin fleet.
  • Knowledge of road transport logistics, including dangerous goods, Chain of Responsibility, and fatigue laws.
  • Full working rights for employment in Australia are required.

Nice to have

  • Experience scheduling bulk fuel or other goods and services.
  • Experience in bulk fuel operations or general logistics management.
  • Fatigue Management accreditation and knowledge of HSSE requirements.
  • Experience using ERP systems.
