Construction Security Programme Manager (Narvik) (AI cloud/data center security): Leading construction security for Nscale’s Kvandal campus, coordinating site security, physical security technology, commissioning, and transition to operational data center security with an accent on critical infrastructure protection and multi-stakeholder delivery. Focus on managing access control, contractor security, risk registers, security system deployment, incident response, and operational readiness.
Location: Permanent on-site work in Narvik, Norway

What you will do
- Lead construction security for the Kvandal campus and serve as Nscale’s primary security representative on site.
- Coordinate with the general contractor, construction management, security vendors, integrators, engineering teams, and local stakeholders.
- Oversee access control, badging, visitor management, contractor credentialing, perimeter controls, surveillance, and temporary site security measures.
- Coordinate the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and acceptance of cameras, access control, biometrics, intrusion detection, intercoms, and security networks.
- Manage security risks, incidents, deficiencies, project milestones, dependencies, reporting, and corrective actions.
- Transition construction security into the operational security program, including procedures, readiness reviews, team onboarding, and site handover.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in physical security, data center security, construction security, critical infrastructure security, or a related field.
- Experience managing security programs for large-scale construction or critical infrastructure projects.
- Experience working with general contractors, construction managers, security integrators, and engineering or design organizations.
- Strong knowledge of physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, biometrics, intrusion detection, perimeter security, and security communications.
- Strong project and program management, communication, judgment, risk identification, and issue-resolution skills.
- Ability to work permanently on site in Narvik, Norway.
Nice to have
- Experience with hyperscale, AI/GPU data centers, power generation facilities, substations, or other critical infrastructure.
- Experience supporting data center construction from design through commissioning and operational turnover.
- Experience with Genetec or comparable physical security platforms.
- Experience working with law enforcement, emergency management, fire services, and local government.
- ASIS CPP, PSP, or equivalent professional credentials.
