Software Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Implement high-quality product features as part of an agile development team.
• Translate requirements and designs into functional Java code with strong attention to security, quality, testability, and performance.
• Use AI engineering tools for research, code understanding, prototyping, implementation, and documentation.
• Collaborate with product management and owners to improve the platform and develop new features.
• Improve local and cloud deployments, plan and estimate work, maintain existing code, and resolve defects.

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with Java and modern software engineering practices, design patterns, and web application development.
• Strong collaboration, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, curiosity, and ability to learn independently.
• Ability to use AI engineering tools with sound engineering judgment.
• Experience or familiarity with UI development, JavaScript, and Vue or React.
• Understanding of RESTful web services, enterprise-scale security configurations, identity management technologies, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, certificate and key management, and cryptography.
• Experience with IDEs, Git, Jenkins, Maven, or Bazel.
