Product Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Onsite at the Florence, South Carolina facility, United States. Candidates must already possess authorization to work for hirify.global in the US.

What you will do

• Inspect incoming raw materials, parts, and components for visual defects and dimensional compliance.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other inspection equipment to verify specifications and tolerances.
• Document defects and non-conformances, initiate dispositions, and coordinate returns, replacements, or scrap.
• Communicate quality issues and corrective-action requirements to suppliers in collaboration with the Supplier Quality Engineer.
• Develop and maintain Quality Plans, Control Plans, inspection checklists, and the quality notification process.
• Monitor QA metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and participate in internal and supplier audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a similar field, plus at least three years of quality-department experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in incoming inspection engineering or product quality assurance.
• Required experience with the SAP Quality Module and Microsoft programs.
• Prior management or leadership experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications and use measuring and inspection equipment.
• Strong supplier communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Internal Auditor certification in ISO 9001:2015.
• Knowledge of 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B.
