Engineering Manager (Healthtech)

Location: UK - HQ - London. Hybrid setup with 3 days per week in the Old Street office. Work from anywhere is available for 3 weeks per year.

What you will do

• Lead an engineering team and ensure fast, reliable, high-quality software delivery.
• Resolve complex technical and operational blockers and act as an escalation point.
• Balance priorities and optimise team workloads for predictable delivery without burnout.
• Drive data-driven experimentation and growth initiatives across the patient lifecycle.
• Improve development processes, workflows, and team structures.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and retain engineers while partnering with Product, Marketing, and Data.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing an engineering team and driving high-quality execution.
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to evaluate system architecture and engineering estimates.
• Experience or strong familiarity with rapid experimentation, A/B testing, engagement, conversion, and retention optimisation.
• Comfort working with React, React Native, TypeScript, Go microservices, GraphQL, Kubernetes, and GCP.
• Strong operational, communication, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in the UK hybrid setup with three office days per week.
