Nuclear Med Tech - Casual PRN Variable Shifts (Nuclear Medicine)

Location: McHenry, Illinois, United States; onsite

Salary: USD 46.73–63.08 per hour

What you will do

• Perform Nuclear Medicine imaging, including planar, SPECT/CT, and/or PET/CT studies.
• Screen, prepare, monitor, and provide post-procedure care for patients.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images, review them before exam completion, and correct imaging issues when needed.
• Administer contrast according to policy, operate imaging equipment, and maintain imaging room readiness.
• Coordinate exam flow, prioritize time-sensitive studies, and document exam and charging information accurately.
• Maintain radiation safety, MRI safety where applicable, infection prevention, and other quality standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program.
• Certification through NMTCB or ARRT Nuclear Medicine (N).
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency accreditation.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to work part-time, casual PRN variable day shifts in an onsite clinical setting.
