Electrician (Infrastructure)

Location: Isle of Wight, United Kingdom; on-site work at the local depot and across commercial and industrial sites

What you will do

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and commissioning in line with BS7671 and company procedures.
• Set out work from drawings and specifications, requisition materials, and complete projects to a high standard.
• Issue relevant electrical certification and carry out fault-finding and remedial works.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers as required.
• Support and mentor apprentices or trainees.

Requirements

• Completed registered electrical apprenticeship or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance, or equivalent.
• Achievement Measurement 2 (AM2), City & Guilds 2382-18, and City & Guilds 2391.
• ECS Card and full UK driving licence.
• Strong focus on safety and quality, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; 3+ years of experience is preferred.
