Shopfloor Systems Technical Lead (MES / IT-OT Integration) (Smart Factory)

What you will do

• Lead the identification, evaluation, and comparison of shopfloor system solutions, including Siemens Opcenter and PAS-X.
• Assess solutions from functional, application, and infrastructure perspectives.
• Coordinate with business, application, infrastructure, and global teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Analyze dependencies between shopfloor applications and servers, hardware, memory, networks, and other infrastructure components.
• Support the adoption, deployment, upgrades, maintenance, obsolescence, and decommissioning of shopfloor applications.
• Provide architectural guidance and contribute to Smart Factory, Industry 4.0, and manufacturing digitalization initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience with shopfloor, manufacturing, or industrial IT systems.
• Knowledge of MES, data historians, ERP integrations, industrial IoT platforms, and IT-OT integration.
• Understanding of system architecture, application infrastructure, servers, hardware, system capacity, and infrastructure dependencies.
• Experience with application lifecycle management and evaluating technical solutions against business and infrastructure requirements.
• Degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Fluent English required; the position is based permanently in Singapore.

Nice to have

• Experience in a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of validation requirements, change management, incident management, and problem management.
• Additional language skills.
