Pre-Sales Solution Architect – Application Development & Modernisation (AWS)

What you will do

• Partner with sales teams and enterprise customers to understand business requirements and translate them into solution concepts.
• Design and present scalable, secure, and reliable application architectures on AWS, including proposals and cost models.
• Lead technical discussions, workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions.
• Apply Java application development and modern frontend technologies to shape solution designs.
• Embed DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and secure development principles.
• Prepare solution documentation and support smooth handover to delivery teams.

Requirements

• Experience designing application solutions on AWS in a customer-facing or presales environment.
• Strong application development knowledge using Java; .NET is a secondary skill, with exposure to modern frontend frameworks.
• Understanding of AWS compute, storage, networking, and cloud-native solution design.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and container-based deployments.
• Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
