Oncology Nurse Navigator

Location: Dallas, TX or New York, NY; hybrid schedule with three days in the office per week. Monday–Friday shifts are either 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CST / 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. EST or 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. CST / 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. EST.

Base salary: $90,000–$105,000 per year plus bonus, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Manage an active caseload of members with cancer diagnoses from diagnosis through survivorship.
• Conduct oncology intake assessments and establish member needs, goals, and care priorities.
• Educate members and families about diagnoses, treatment options, clinical pathways, and available resources using evidence-based, NCCN-aligned and ONCC-aligned guidance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and communication between members, treating providers, and the care team.
• Identify psychosocial, financial, and logistical barriers and connect members with appropriate resources.
• Document interactions, complete follow-ups, participate in quality initiatives, and apply call-audit feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Active RN license in a compact state with an unencumbered ability to be licensed in all 50 states.
• At least three years of oncology nursing experience.
• Active ONCC certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse (CPHON), or Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN), with the ability to maintain certification throughout employment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite, with familiarity with NCCN guidelines and ClinicalTrials.gov.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment while based in the Dallas or New York area.
