Bilingual Medical Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: Remote for candidates residing in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

Salary: $21.50 per hour.

Oscar Medical Group is refactoring healthcare through personalized virtual care and healthcare delivery.

What you will do

• Provide live video check-in and check-out support for patients.
• Provide phone and messaging support to patients.
• Support virtual physicians, advanced practice providers, registered nurses, and the wider Care Team.
• Coordinate each patient's care from initial outreach through resolution, including referrals and follow-up appointments.
• Send requisition forms, coordinate referrals, and collect provider notes to close the referral loop.
• Communicate with providers, facilities, laboratories, imaging facilities, pharmacies, and vendors to clarify information and resolve complex cases.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant certification.
• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience in a primary care, urgent care, or multi-specialty clinic.
• Fluent Spanish, with successful completion of verbal and written proficiency exams.
• Ability to work remotely from one of the listed U.S. states or the District of Columbia.
