Homeless Services, Domestic Violence Housing Coordinator (Los Angeles Area or REMOTE ROLE)

What you will do

• Coordinate Coordinated Entry System processes for survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking, and related life-threatening conditions.
• Match eligible households with emergency, transitional, rapid rehousing, permanent supportive, affordable housing, and rental assistance resources.
• Provide housing navigation and application support, including documentation, eligibility verification, landlord communication, and move-in coordination.
• Track referrals and applications through placement, identify delays and barriers, and coordinate warm handoffs to victim services, legal assistance, benefits, behavioral health, childcare, and transportation resources.
• Protect survivor safety, privacy, confidentiality, and autonomy through secure communication, accurate records, and trauma-informed practices.
• Support quality assurance, data analysis, operational guides, training, and technical assistance for service providers and community partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, public policy and administration, social work, welfare, or a related clinical or health field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum two years of directly related experience with Continuum of Care and HUD Coordinated Entry programs.
• Knowledge of HUD Coordinated Entry requirements, Continuum of Care programs, VAWA-related housing protections, and confidentiality requirements.
• Experience with survivor-centered case conferencing, multidisciplinary housing coordination, trauma-aware engagement, and multi-agency partnerships.
• Experience with data management systems, victim services provider comparable databases, and IT privacy and security standards.
• Strong project management, facilitation, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with landlord engagement, housing searches, rental assistance, lease-up, or move-in coordination.
• Knowledge of fair housing, reasonable accommodations, language access, and survivor housing protections.
• Experience developing Coordinated Entry policies, procedures, or quality assurance frameworks.
