Team Leader, Coordination of Benefits (COB)

Location: Remote Flex in the United States, with a few in-office visits each year; the role is associated with North Carolina and the Durham headquarters.

Salary: $66,998–$107,197 per year, plus an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Lead daily workload management and execute team goals and operational objectives.
• Provide guidance on work processes, escalations, customer inquiries, and issue resolution.
• Coach employees, support development, conduct performance evaluations, and create improvement plans when needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system and process gaps.
• Analyze trends, identify root causes, document issues, and implement solutions.
• Conduct random audits and represent the department on corporate projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree where required.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field, or 7+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Employment authorization sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Ability to respond accurately and professionally to internal and external customer inquiries.
• Skills in leadership, team management, performance management, training, and process improvement.

Nice to have

• People leadership experience.
• Lean Six Sigma certification and practical process improvement experience.
• Experience supporting Coordination of Benefits functions.
• Experience leading initiatives that improve efficiency and operational effectiveness.
