Localization Project Manager

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of translation projects from inception to completion.
• Determine resource requirements and optimal cost structures based on project objectives and operational needs.
• Identify potential issues, resolve them, and close project gaps proactively.
• Collaborate with Vendor Management, Operations, and Business Development teams.
• Ensure project resources maintain high quality and professional and ethical standards.
• Participate in mentoring and training junior colleagues.

Requirements

• University degree in translation, languages, or a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• At least 2 years of project management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of CAT tools, including MemoQ, and an understanding of machine translation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, meeting facilitation, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to take initiative, adapt to a rapidly changing business, and handle client-facing responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of additional languages.
• Experience with Intellectual Property clients.
