Phlebotomist - Rover

Location: Client offices in Ashland and Louisa, Kentucky, with rotation between multiple sites; additional listed locations include Winchester, Cumming, Chesapeake, Tucker, Conway, Roswell, and Canton in the United States.

What you will do

• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen logs.
• Enter patient information, process billing details, and collect payments when required.
• Provide customer service and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel between assigned and additional sites when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program may substitute for work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and pass a standardized color blindness test.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient laboratory environment.
• Demonstrated exceptional customer service experience.
