Senior Backend Engineer (AI Security)

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel; onsite office role

hirify.global is building an AI Security and Governance Platform that provides visibility and protection across the AI and LLM lifecycle.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable backend services using Go, Kubernetes, and Temporal.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions with Product, Research, and Platform teams.
• Integrate with AI and LLM platforms, cloud providers, and data sources.
• Own architectural decisions while balancing speed, reliability, and maintainability.
• Implement code quality, testing, observability, and production-readiness practices.
• Debug complex production issues and improve system resilience.

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend development experience.
• End-to-end experience developing backend software components, including research, design, development, testing, rollout, and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of scalability, performance, and reliability trade-offs.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
• Ability to align technical decisions with product and business impact and adapt to new technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience in security, cloud security, or data protection.
• Startup or high-growth company experience.
• Experience with Temporal or other workflow orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI, ML, or LLM platforms and their operational challenges.
• Experience building internal platforms or developer-focused infrastructure, or serving in a Team Lead or Tech Lead role.
