Senior Legal Counsel (Regulatory)

Location: San Francisco, United States; fully remote. The role supports hirify.global's US operations and requires admission to practice in at least one US jurisdiction.

What you will do

• Advise Product, Compliance, GTM, and Business teams on legal and compliance issues for stablecoin, payments, and card products.
• Expand product offerings in line with regulatory requirements and design compliant structures for retail and institutional clients.
• Draft and maintain Terms of Service, user agreements, product disclosures, and card program agreements.
• Manage US regulatory requirements and applications, including state Money Transmitter Licenses, virtual currency licenses, and card network compliance.
• Monitor SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, CFPB, and state-regulator developments and assess their impact on the US business.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements while overseeing US outside counsel relationships and legal spend.

Requirements

• JD and admission to practice in at least one US jurisdiction required.
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience advising on digital assets and payments, in a top law firm or in-house environment.
• Knowledge of US financial legislation, regulations, and supervisory frameworks.
• Familiarity with the SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, CFPB, and state regulators.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to make decisions under ambiguity.
