What you will do

• Serve as the lead legal counsel and subject matter expert across financial crime disciplines including sanctions, AML/CFT, and ABC
• Act as the primary legal liaison with regulators, law enforcement, and financial intelligence units such as OFAC, FinCEN, and FCA
• Lead and manage legal responses to regulatory inquiries, investigations, and enforcement actions
• Provide authoritative legal advice on financial crime risks arising from products, services, and business operations across multiple jurisdictions
• Oversee sanctions-specific matters, including license applications and counterparty assessments
• Develop and maintain global financial crime legal policies, frameworks, and guidance materials

Requirements

• Qualified attorney with 10+ years of experience specialising in financial crime law (sanctions, AML/CFT, etc.)
• Deep technical expertise in financial crime regulations across major jurisdictions
• Proven experience engaging directly with regulatory bodies and law enforcement (OFAC, FinCEN, FCA, DOJ)
• Strong knowledge of financial crime risks within digital assets, payments, and trading
• Demonstrated ability to work across jurisdictions and collaborate with global teams
• Strong business judgement and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach
