Change and Configuration Manager (Automotive)

Location: Hybrid model with 3 days per week in the client's office in Kraków, Poland

Salary: 900–1,300 PLN per day net + VAT on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and implement configuration management plans and processes.
• Identify configuration items, create product structures, and define system release configurations and baselines.
• Coordinate configuration reviews with customers, engineering teams, program leads, and system leads.
• Manage engineering change requests from evaluation and approval through implementation, tracking, communication, and closure.
• Maintain configuration management infrastructure and documentation, and report project status.
• Perform process audits, support production during integration, and drive continual process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, preferably focused on electric drive systems, power electronics, or motors; a related Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in systems engineering, engineering product management, and engineering management.
• Experience with EIA-649C, A-SPICE, and related process frameworks.
• Understanding of hybrid and electric vehicle systems, operating modes, system trade-offs, power electronics, electric motors, and controls.
• Knowledge of Polarion, JIRA, or similar tools, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability for occasional domestic and international travel and experience working across multiple regions and cultures.

• Master’s degree in a related technical field.
