Base salary: $188,200–$244,600 in Zone A, $167,200–$217,300 in Zone B, or $148,700–$193,300 in Zone C, depending on primary work location.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and scale AI agent systems for goal-directed behavior, task planning, execution, and environment-aware decision-making.
• Build reusable planning modules, memory systems, policy adaptation layers, and AI models that creators can extend in hirify.global projects.
• Integrate machine learning models into real-time engine environments while optimizing latency, compute usage, and determinism.
• Lead initiatives involving hierarchical reinforcement learning, NPC planning, goal inference, agent memory, and persistent world modeling.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams on gaming, simulation, and interactive storytelling use cases.
• Define agentic AI roadmaps, model-quality practices, simulation-based evaluation, and AI safety standards while mentoring engineers and researchers.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing machine learning systems in production.
• Experience with real-time or interactive environments.
• Strong background in reinforcement learning, fine-tuning, decision-making under uncertainty, AI planning, or multi-agent systems.
• Professional English proficiency is required for regular written and verbal communication with colleagues and partners worldwide.
