Senior/Expert Java Developer

Location: Warsaw, Gdańsk, or Gdynia, Poland; hybrid work with at least 60% office presence.

Rate: Up to 160 PLN/h net + VAT on a B2B basis.

What you will do

• Develop new services and solutions within the Embedded Banking Service Domain and Payments Service Area.
• Build distributed, highly available, and high-throughput applications.
• Develop and maintain microservices using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate closely with an agile Scrum team and experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of proven Java software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, distributed applications, relational databases, PostgreSQL and/or Db2.
• Practical knowledge of Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, Maven, and JUnit.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Fluent spoken and written English required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Specification-Driven Development and related frameworks.
