Mechanical Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Hybrid work from Kraków, Zabłocie, with three days per week in the office

Salary: 800–1,040 PLN per day + VAT on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for high-voltage power electronics used in automotive applications.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation using Siemens NX or equivalent tools.
• Support prototyping, testing, validation, and industrialization throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, suppliers, and customers to meet technical, quality, and manufacturing requirements.
• Drive engineering changes, continuous product improvements, design reviews, and project milestones.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in mechanical product development and design.
• Strong 3D CAD skills; Siemens NX is preferred, with CATIA or similar tools accepted.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, die casting, DFMEA, DFM, and DFA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level.

Nice to have

• Automotive industry experience.
• Experience with e-mobility, electric vehicles, or power electronics products.
• Knowledge of FEA and simulation tools such as Ansys.
• Experience in international engineering environments.
