Senior Java Developer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid work from Warsaw, Poland, with three days per week in the office

Salary: 1,000–1,200 PLN per day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services for digital business banking platforms.
• Build scalable solutions with Java, Spring, REST APIs, microservices, and database technologies.
• Own backend testing activities, including unit, integration, API, and performance testing.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and contribute to technical design.
• Use AI-powered tools in development, testing, delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, analysts, and business stakeholders in a cross-functional Agile team.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in software development and testing.
• Strong Java 21+, REST API, and microservices experience.
• Practical knowledge of Spring Boot 3.x, Spring WebFlux, Hibernate, Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Experience with Oracle DB, DB2, SQL databases, JUnit 5, Cucumber, and WireMock.
• Understanding of SOLID principles, test automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting with tools such as Splunk.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in Agile environments.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of reactive programming, frontend development, Gherkin, or JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with Angular, Playwright, qTest, or ISTQB Foundation Certification.
