Venture Analyst - Nemetschek CVC (m/f/d)

Location: Munich, Germany; the role must be based in Munich. Hybrid work is supported through mobile working and variable working hours.

What you will do

• Build relationships with entrepreneurs, incubators, accelerators and venture capital funds.
• Source and screen investment opportunities through networking, events and platforms such as PitchBook and Tracxn.
• Evaluate startup product-market fit, teams, business models, technology, scalability and financial performance.
• Maintain accurate startup information in the internal CRM and update portfolio dashboards with quarterly financials and metrics.
• Prepare portfolio performance reports, investment memos and presentations for executive leadership and the investment committee.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience after graduation in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, management consulting or a startup environment.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• Passion for emerging technologies and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Knowledge of the AECO industry.
• Familiarity with PitchBook, Tracxn or similar databases.
• Additional German language skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
