UK Controller – Consulting

Location: London, UK; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Lead controllership operations for the UK Consulting businesses, including month-end close and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Oversee financial information and reporting under US GAAP, local GAAP, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Design, implement, and monitor internal controls, ensuring SOX compliance and timely remediation of control issues.
• Manage external auditor relationships, audit deliverables, accounting issues, and Audit Committee support.
• Provide accounting analysis for business decisions, new accounting standards, acquisitions, disposals, system implementations, and other finance projects.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a small team while managing key finance stakeholders and supporting process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
• Qualified Accountant certification, preferably ACA, ACCA, or ACMA.
• Significant financial controllership experience with several years of management responsibility in a large matrixed organization.
• Ability to lead change and streamline financial activities and procedures.
• Understanding of Oracle Financials GL and Hyperion Essbase.
• Ability to work from the London office at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in fiduciary management, OCIO, or investment consulting.
