Group Financial Controller

Location: Hybrid role based at an office just outside Preston, United Kingdom

Salary: £85,000–£110,000 per annum plus additional benefits

What you will do

• Own the group consolidated financial statements.
• Lead the timely delivery and presentation of management and key financial reporting.
• Improve financial processes, systems, and internal controls across the organisation.
• Support the provision of financial information for acquisitions.
• Prepare and review year-end statutory accounts and manage group VAT and tax compliance.
• Provide investor reporting and manage the finance team.

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Previous experience working in a complex business.
• Strong technical accounting skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong staff management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

• Experience consolidating accounts.
• Previous experience in a private-equity-backed environment.
