Global Medical Affairs Lead (Oncology)

Location: Hybrid 70/30 work model based in either Cambridge, Massachusetts, or Princeton, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $210,900–$379,200 per year, plus potential bonus, incentive compensation, or equity.

Biotechnology company developing mRNA-based medicines, vaccines, and therapeutics across oncology, infectious diseases, rare diseases, and cardiovascular diseases.

What you will do

• Own the global medical strategy for the oncology portfolio from early development through lifecycle management.
• Provide final medical accountability for assigned programs and deliver integrated medical plans.
• Lead medical governance, cross-functional decision-making, and integrated evidence planning for regulators, payers, and other stakeholders.
• Direct global medical matrix teams across scientific communications, field medical, and patient advocacy.
• Lead global launch readiness, including medical training, evidence generation, scientific engagement, and narrative development.
• Build external partnerships, publication strategies, medical education initiatives, real-world evidence programs, budgets, and resource plans.

Requirements

• MD or non-U.S. equivalent, PharmD, or PhD with extensive oncology medical affairs leadership experience.
• At least 15 years of medical affairs experience, including a strong record in global roles.
• Demonstrated global launch planning and execution experience in oncology or immuno-oncology.
• Deep oncology expertise and experience in regulatory affairs, scientific communications, and external stakeholder engagement.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams involving pharmacovigilance, biostatistics, clinical operations, and regulatory affairs.
• Only U.S. persons who are citizens, permanent residents, asylees, or refugees are eligible due to U.S. export control requirements; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
