VSC Senior Analyst (Corporate Finance)

Location: United States; the stated salary range applies to San Francisco

Salary: $107,500–$120,000 base salary per year in San Francisco, plus a discretionary bonus of up to 16% and retirement contributions.

What you will do

• Perform shareholder return analysis, corporate valuation, and financial benchmarking for client cases, workshops, and proposals.
• Build financial models to assess the capital markets impact of strategic plans, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and financial policy changes.
• Partner with BCG teams, managers, and project leaders to generate insights into clients’ financial characteristics.
• Integrate analysis into proposals and consulting projects and create high-quality client presentations.
• Share corporate finance and valuation expertise, sector knowledge, and points of view across the firm.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with high academic achievement and 1–2 or more years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investing, or consulting.
• Demonstrated interest in corporate finance and valuation.
• Strong mathematics, analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and the ability to manage multiple parallel tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative approach, strong work ethic, client-service mindset, credibility, and the ability to work in virtual group settings.
• Behavior aligned with the highest ethical standards.
