Electrical Integration Associate - Avionics (Winter 2027)

What you will do

• Design, build, and test satellite hardware and software as part of an interdisciplinary engineering team.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Radio Frequency, and Propulsion teams on assembly and integration test plans.
• Develop and execute environmental testing using thermal chambers, vibration tables, data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, and other instruments.
• Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental test activities.
• Help diagnose and resolve complex electrical, software, and mechanical issues in integrated systems.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field.
• Graduated within the last six months or currently enrolled in a postgraduate program.
• Interest in hands-on hardware development and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and communicate effectively.
• Must work onsite five days per week in San Francisco.
• Must hold U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or qualifying refugee, asylee, or other protected-individual status under U.S. export regulations.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience designing, building, and testing complex electrical systems.
• Python experience for interfacing with test equipment, processing datasets, and visualizing data.
• Direct electrical or software design experience.
• Experience debugging hardware and software problems under time pressure.
