What you will do

• Develop frameworks and infrastructure for qualification and acceptance testing of Terran R avionics components.
• Design simulation circuits, auxiliary test equipment, harnesses, mechanical fixtures, enclosures, and system validation tools.
• Derive test requirements and methodologies with hardware and software engineers.
• Create and maintain avionics test plans and procedures.
• Integrate, commission, and operate test rack hardware and software for component- and system-level functional testing.
• Identify and troubleshoot avionics issues while improving testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with electronics hardware simulation or testing.
• Familiarity with data acquisition and control platforms such as NI, Beckhoff, or similar systems.
• Experience using power supplies, DMMs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and electronic loads.
• Familiarity with Ethernet, CAN, UART, SPI, and other common communication protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Altium Designer or another schematic capture and PCB design tool.
• Experience with analog sensors such as pressure transducers, RTDs, and accelerometers.
• Embedded software development and integration experience for avionics systems.
• Python or MATLAB scripting for data acquisition, recording, and analysis.
• Wire harness design or CAD experience, including NX.
