Principal Program Scheduler (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States. The role requires eligibility as a U.S. person under ITAR or eligibility for a federally issued export-control license.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Create, own, and maintain master schedules for satellite programs from concept through launch and on-orbit operations.
• Develop critical-path schedules, progress updates, schedule tools, and reports for internal teams and customers.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, production, software, ground infrastructure, and launch activities against program milestones.
• Identify dependencies across internal and external stakeholders and monitor engineering data for schedule accuracy.
• Lead schedule reviews, perform what-if analysis, assess risks, and recommend paths forward to leadership.
• Improve planning processes through a detailed understanding of engineering, manufacturing, and launch workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, operations management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project planning and integrated master scheduling.
• Experience integrating schedules from the same tool, third parties, and varied data sources.
• Experience with critical-path analysis, what-if analysis, schedule health metrics, and work breakdown structures.
• High proficiency with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Primavera, or comparable scheduling tools and processes.
• Must be a U.S. person under ITAR or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export-control license; an active Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with engineering development lifecycles, first-of-engineering projects, and scaled production.
• Experience supporting concurrent projects in fast-paced engineering and operations environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to establish update cadences, operate with clear guidance in ambiguity, and raise issues proactively.
