Product Manager (Android POS)

Location: Denver, CO, United States; in-person visits to merchants' stores are required

Base salary: $150,000–$170,000 per year, plus equity

hirify.global is building an operating system for beverage alcohol retailers that combines point of sale, payments, back-office tools, inventory management, reporting, and e-commerce.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap and register experience for the Android point-of-sale application.
• Prioritize merchant escalations, platform work, and longer-term product investments with engineering.
• Visit merchant stores, observe staff workflows, and translate customer feedback into product direction.
• Write outcome-focused requirements and manage multiple workstreams and trade-offs.
• Ensure the application works reliably with peripherals, inconsistent networks, and high-volume store operations.
• Own releases end to end, including rollout decisions, release communication, adoption measurement, and incident response.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Experience owning a native mobile application as a product surface, including release cadence and updates to devices already in use.
• Experience with fleet or mobile device management for managed devices deployed outside an app store.
• Demonstrated accountability for independent product decisions and several concurrent workstreams.
• Regular direct customer contact, including observing users in person and adapting decisions based on their workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication for engineers, merchants, support, and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware, peripherals, printers, scanners, card readers, or other field-deployed devices.
• Experience building products for busy, interruption-heavy environments.
• Retail or point-of-sale experience, especially with independent or small-format merchants.
• Payments experience with tender types, reconciliation, or dual pricing.
• Fluency with AI tools in daily work.
