Manufacturing Equipment Development Engineer (Consumer Technology)

What you will do

• Lead deployment, site integration, commissioning, and qualification of industrial manufacturing equipment using IQ/OQ/SAT protocols.
• Select and procure equipment for manufacturing capability and throughput requirements, including fixturing and workholding solutions.
• Manage technical relationships with equipment manufacturers and resolve major hardware anomalies.
• Monitor and improve equipment performance, OEE, uptime, MTBF, and MTTR in a 24/7 production environment.
• Create SOPs, preventive maintenance schedules, and facility integration logs, and train production staff.
• Coordinate equipment integration with Facilities, EHS, Quality, Process Engineering, and enterprise data/SCADA teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of progressive engineering experience in complex equipment deployment, factory automation, or industrial machinery integration.
• Experience executing formal equipment qualification protocols such as IQ/OQ/PQ and applying mechanical troubleshooting frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with at least two industrial equipment categories, such as CNC/EDM, vacuum or pneumatic systems, thermal systems, robotic automation, or chemical processing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Robotics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong project management and communication skills, including vendor relationship management and reporting machine readiness metrics.
