Facility Management Associate II - PS AM (DPM Expansions)

Location: Clayton, North Carolina, United States; onsite facility role with work involving building maintenance, equipment inspections, outdoor conditions, elevated heights, confined spaces, and up to 12-hour periods on foot.

What you will do

• Provide and coordinate cost-effective facility maintenance and services.
• Manage and execute service contracts while improving value.
• Maintain buildings, grounds, fixtures, walls, floors, stairs, offices, and parking areas.
• Respond to building maintenance requests and work independently on complex projects.
• Participate in spill response and first aid teams in coordination with EHS.
• Support shipping, receiving, non-GMP warehouse activities, records management, and waste management.

Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of experience in facilities maintenance or a similar field preferred.
• Building maintenance knowledge and experience required.
• Associate degree in engineering, business, or planning, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is a plus.
• Ability to move equipment and supplies weighing up to 33 pounds, work on foot for up to 12 hours, use ladders, and work around hazardous materials, loud noise, cold environments, and confined spaces.
• Ability to pass a driving exam for powered industrial trucks; a valid driver’s license is not required.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, security systems, emergency response, pharmaceutical operations, Microsoft Office, and action-plan management is preferred or advantageous.
