UX Designer / Product Experience Designer, Design Systems (Figma/AI)

What you will do

• Design, evolve, and maintain Figma and production components, patterns, tokens, variants, and documentation.
• Build layered token architecture for color, typography, spacing, radius, and motion, ensuring clean translation into cross-platform code.
• Lead design-system governance, including contribution models, reviews, versioning, deprecation, and quality standards.
• Maintain machine-readable design-system context and review AI-generated documentation and component output.
• Build accessibility into components, test keyboard and screen-reader behavior, and document limitations.
• Drive adoption by partnering with designers, product owners, and engineers and using usage, drift, adoption, and defect data.

Requirements

• Advanced Figma experience with Design Tokens, Variables, components, variants, and library architecture.
• Ability to create and edit Figma plugins and work with the Figma MCP server and Code Connect tools.
• Ability to create and maintain skill.md files for AI automation and experience with at least one AI coding tool.
• Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA at the component-mechanics level, including keyboard-only and screen-reader testing.
• Front-end literacy in HTML, CSS, and React or a similar framework.
• Strong technical writing, presentation, meeting leadership, and stakeholder-influence skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with native iOS and Android design systems, enterprise or regulated-industry interfaces, or insurance and financial services.
• Experience with Style Dictionary, Tokens Studio, Storybook, zeroheight, Supernova, or MCP-based context delivery.
• Experience leading design-system migrations, supporting multiple brands or localizations, and implementing automated accessibility or visual regression testing.
