Application Engineer - Digital Implementation (IC Design)

What you will do

• Provide technical support for digital IC design implementation.
• Demonstrate design products and support sales presentations.
• Apply RTL-to-GDSII design methodology to low-power and high-performance designs.
• Perform floorplanning, partitioning, placement, clock-tree synthesis, routing, and STA timing closure.
• Conduct physical verification, RC extraction, and power-network analysis.
• Assist with technical evaluation, assessment, and delivery of concurrent mixed-signal designs.

Requirements

• Experience with digital IC design implementation, including floorplanning, partitioning, placement, CTS, routing, STA, physical verification, RC extraction, and power-network analysis.
• Working knowledge of one or more programming languages and scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, Tcl, or Python.
• Ability to understand and explain technical issues, design products, and their applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good English communication skills are required.
• Full-time availability in Yokohama.

Nice to have

• Synthesis experience.
• MS degree or experience in a multinational IC design house.
• Familiarity with EDI or Innovus.
• ML/AI knowledge.
