Senior Technical Program Manager - Interiors (Automotive)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; hybrid with onsite work required four or more days per week. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Travel up to 15%.

Salary: $138,800–$232,700 per year.

What you will do

• Drive engineering teams to contain and resolve issues from design reviews, virtual builds, and build events.
• Protect the program schedule through start of production and ongoing production.
• Maintain supplier relationships with the Supply Chain team to support timely build-event deliveries.
• Monitor deliverables for vehicle and systems incompatibilities, integration opportunities, and collaboration improvements.
• Identify risks, coordinate mitigation actions, and set agendas for decisions that remove bottlenecks.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and strategy teams to reach key program decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management experience in an engineering setting involving hardware development.
• Detailed knowledge of product development from design and development through validation and integration.
• Knowledge of materials, processes, and technologies used for vehicle interior engineering.
• Experience driving progress across multiple projects, locations, and timelines.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is available.
