Assistant Area Manager (Short-Term Rentals)

Location: On-site in Blakeslee, Pennsylvania, United States; must reside in the designated area and frequently travel between local properties.

Salary: $63,000–$65,000 per year, plus a performance bonus.

What you will do

• Support the Area Manager with daily operational activities across properties in the designated market.
• Serve as a point of contact for property owners, communicate updates, and review owner distribution statements.
• Audit properties, maintain hirify.global standards, manage supplies and linens, and address quality assurance issues.
• Monitor and resolve guest and homeowner concerns through email, calls, texts, Slack, and support tickets.
• Coordinate housekeeping and routine rental maintenance, including inspections, inventory checks, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and property readiness.
• Train, coach, and evaluate field operations personnel while providing market leadership when required.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hospitality or customer-facing experience.
• Experience in the vacation rental industry.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must reside in the designated area and hold a valid driver’s license with active car insurance.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, flexible schedules, and after-hours on-call shifts.
• Ability to spend most working time standing, walking, and driving, with the physical capacity to perform property-related duties and occasionally lift more than 25 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience in hospitality and/or real estate.
• Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) designation.
