Event Operations Manager (Audio Visual)

Location: East Naples, Florida, United States; onsite hotel and convention center work

Salary: $48,776–$63,409 per year

What you will do

• Manage daily floor operations and technician workflows to deliver equipment and services on time and according to client and hotel requirements.
• Supervise, schedule, delegate, and develop technicians and operational support staff.
• Control equipment inventory, safety, security, quality assurance, billing reviews, and operational costs.
• Meet with guests onsite, resolve service needs, review equipment setups, and support client satisfaction and onsite upselling.
• Participate in BEO, pre-construction, pre-production, and other event planning meetings.
• Manage performance, training, salary administration, and professional development for the operational team.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 4+ years of audio-visual and customer service or hospitality experience, including 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience leading workflows and team members.
• Working knowledge of audio-visual equipment in a live-show environment.
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, the Internet, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work onsite in East Naples and during irregular hours, evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call periods.
