Journeyman Electrician (Fusion Energy)

Location: On-site at the headquarters in Denver, Colorado, United States. Travel to auxiliary facilities may be required.

What you will do

• Install and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and layouts for fusion energy infrastructure.
• Install switchgear, panelboards, transformers, conduit, wiring, fixtures, harnesses, instrumentation, and related equipment.
• Maintain facility lighting, general power systems, and existing electrical infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot electrical anomalies using multimeters and other test equipment to support system uptime.
• Assist facilities, electrical, and engineering teams with planning electrical distributions, laser-delivery power subsystems, and building layouts.
• Provide direction to apprentices and contractors while supporting broader facility operations and plant safety.

Requirements

• Active, valid Journeyman Electrician License in Colorado required.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial, commercial, and manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of AC and DC systems, control systems, automation, instrumentation, electrical installation techniques, materials, and industrial wiring codes.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.
• Ability to work in active industrial field environments, with strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and physical-stamina skills.
• Commitment to safety standards including OSHA requirements and the National Electrical Code.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SCADA instrumentation and I/O connectivity.
